Rann Utsav, curated by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL), is a remarkable event that bridges the past and the present. Located in the captivating White Desert of Rann, this festival introduces the world to the enchanting ‘White Rann Experience.
What was once a seemingly desolate stretch of land near the Great Rann of Kutch was revitalized by TCGL in 2005. What began as a humble three-day gathering has evolved into a grand 100-day celebration, taking place in the village of Dhordo, near the Rann of Kutch. Every year, a temporary tent city springs to life, providing visitors with a unique and immersive experience.
